An exceptional, sculptural ceramic pitcher in the style of Pol Chambost, made in the 1950's in France. It has a striking, slightly metallic black black glaze that has a bronze hue on the bottom combined with a yellow interior. It is signed on the bottom and numbered with the model number 96. The signature is so shallow that it is barely visible but it seems to start with "C" and end with a "t". A stunning ceramic pitcher and a beautiful design object that resembles more of an abstract sculpture and offers an exciting and completely different view from each side. Measurements: 25,5 cm high 18,5 cm deep 24 cm wide Condition: Overall in excellent condition, one superficial loss of glaze probably during firing on the rim and crazing.
