In 2008 the car was imported to Italy, where the previous owner started restoring the vehicle (but he never finished due to personal problems). Frame and bodywork were stripped with “media blast”, a sandblasting procedure involving microspheres, and treated with an antirust epoxy primer. The frame was repainted in black colour. Rims were repainted too. Striping, treatment and repainting cost €2,400 (documented). The body needs to be restored, while the frame is in very good conditions. The engine is loose and could be started, but an inspection is recommended first. The bottom is new. Another 1500 cc engine block is included (for restoration).
