Spirit of St. Louis was the plane with which Charles Lindbergh crossed the Atlantic Ocean on May 20 and 21, 1927. Lindbergh departed on May 20 from Roosevelt Airfield in Long Island and landed, a day later, in Paris, at Le Bourget Aerodrome. The flight took 33 hours, 30 minutes and 29.8 seconds. He was the first person in history to make this non-stop flight.
