A traditional Tibetan hat from Ladakh or possibly the Zanskar valley from around 1900, 24cm tall, the top measuring 15cm in diameter. The hat is constructed of a thick padded and stitched velvet and embellished with embroidered edges and ornaments of silver and copper thread. Such traditional hats are worn by men and women alike during ceremonies.
Condition: Some wear, see photos. Otherwise in good condition.
