Really ancient and rare mask, 1900, with character and traceable since 1979.
Powerful DAN GREBO mask. The sculpture is imprinted with force, in perfect harmony with the strict expression of this mask. Marvellous patina. The wood is very well-preserved. The back of the mask attests of its antiquity. Beautiful piece of collection from the early nineties.
On the backside there are labels dating from the first public sale of this mask, in 1979, at Ketterer Auction in Munich (Germany).
